This comprises all national labour regulations in the respective countries in which the appropriate group companies are based. These refer to matters such as working hours, minimum wages, bargaining agree- ments, works council, and freedom of assembly. HUMAN RIGHTS DISCRIMINATION GRI 406-1 Pankl Group does not tolerate any violations of hu- man rights and safeguards observance of the UN Human Rights Charta. The group ensures adherence to human rights when running its business and to not accept any discriminatory behaviour against job ap- plicants, current and future employees, management executives, board members, business partners, sup- pliers, customers, and advisers. In the entire recruit- ment process, any type of discrimination is prohibited. Such processes are further accompanied by trained Human Resources staff. WHISTLEBLOWER-PLATTFORM For Pankl Group it is important that ethical principles and general corporate standards are adhered to, and all relevant laws and rules complied with. This includes violations of national, and international law, EU-rules, and the Code of Conduct valid at the time. In everyday working life it is possible that employees, management executives or board members become aware of shortcomings and notice actual or potential violations against regulations or the Code of Conduct. For this reason, Pankl Group has implemented a cor- porate, digital whistleblowing system. Key aspects of this system are that members of staff know that con- cerns are taken seriously, and people are not put under pressure. Notifications or comments can be reported either via the respective superior officer or the compliance offi- cer. If these lines of communication are not possible, then reports shall be delivered via the whistleblowing system itself also in anonymous form in all European locations.
